Cincinnati Unchained 2009

We're happy to announce that Margot Madison Stationery will participate in this year's Cincinnati Unchained!

From BuyCincy:
Every dollar you spend at a locally-owned business generates approximately three times more economic activity than a dollar spent at the typical "big-box." By choosing to shop locally-owned for just one day, we can help to improve Cincinnati's economy.
Join us next Saturday, November 21, for a sale on our digital holiday cards, and support Cincinnati businesses by shopping locally!

'Swept Away' Wedding Suite

This is one of our favorite recent projects: an entire coordinating wedding suite, in red, chocolate brown, and natural white. (Click on the photo to enlarge the image.)

Lindsay designed the "Swept Away" wedding suite, which contains the following elements:
  • Save-the-Date: Complete with an engagement photo of the couple, printed directly on the announcement, which saves on assembly and photo printing costs.
  • Invitation: Printed on natural white cardstock and layered on a red metallic card. The invitation includes a double-sided Directions & Accommodations card with a perforated Reply postcard, and a return address label for coordinating envelopes.
  • Wedding Program: A tri-fold printed on both sides, this program provides plenty of space for large wedding parties or special messages and dedications from the couple.
  • Menu card: We set up this file for the bride and she printed it and layered it on red metallic cardstock that matches the invitation.
  • CD favor: We printed a custom cd label for the musical wedding favor created by the couple.
  • Thank You cards: A simple folded card printed with the couples' married names.
A wedding suite gives your wedding stationery a cohesive and sophisticated look. Available only through the Margot Madison Stationery retail location, though we can take your orders over the phone if you are not in the Cincinnati area.

Same Ol' Holiday Card

While we're still super excited about our Birch Trees Save-the-Date Holiday card being a featured Etsy Find for November, we'd like to highlight a card today for those of us who might not have such big news this holiday season.

It's been a tough year for a lot of folks, and sometimes just making it through the year without any upheaval is reason enough to celebrate.

The text of the card reads "Same job...same location...same car...same lifestyle...things could not be better," with your personal closing signature. The card measures 5 x 7" and is printed on high quality, coated cardstock. Matching envelopes and optional return address stickers are part of the package. Click on the image above for the Etsy listing, and be sure to browse the rest of our online shop.

Don't be shy if your year hasn't yielded exciting news...celebrate the fact with your family and friends this holiday season!

Holiday Save-the-Date

Have some big news to share this holiday season?

We love dual-purpose greetings, and here is one of our favorite new designs.

Getting married in the coming months? Send the news this year with your holiday card. Save-the-dates are often sent 6-12 months before the big day, especially for destination weddings or international travel, or 3-6 months for a wedding near your home and family. These announcements typically include the couples' names, wedding date, location, website and/or travel & accommodations information.

Click on the photo above to check out our Etsy listing for the Birch Trees Holiday Save-the-Date Card.
