6 party supplies I bought yesterday

I completely went on a party supply rampage yesterday afternoon. I usually have decent impulse control but you know once you hit the Paypal button on your first purchase, it sometimes starts the waterfall of shopping card purchases.

It all started with with these adorable favor bags from A Life Handmade:

I bought the notebook lined favor bags on the left, but I'll be back for the colorful chevron bags in no time. I was thinking that they would be cute to enclose a gift card for our end-of-the-year teacher gifts.

Then I bought a set of wooden knives, forks and spoons from In The Clear.

I'm planning a fun picnic with individual lunch boxes and these would be so adorable wrapped with a simple ribbon and tucked inside with the sandwiches and salads. There is a huge variety of phrases that can be stamped on the handles and I chose "Try it, you'll like it" for mine.

These straws are actually a legitimate work related purchase. I'm styling a graduation party and must have some navy striped straws to go in the bottles of lemonade. These are from the Glitter Daisy Shop.

Also from the Glitter Daisy Shop I snagged some of these little favor cups. I like the idea of baking cupcakes in them because the colors won't get dulled out after the cupcake bakes.

Then it was on to these chevron bags. One of my favorite trends right now is the neon accents on craft neutrals. I have no particular use for these at the moment, but I'm sure I'll come up with one soon.

Of course, needing a neon accent led me back to In The Clear to puchase some neon washi tape.

Somehow this is all starting to sound like the crafter's version of that children's book "If You Give a Pig A Pancake". Now I'm just enjoying the glow of a craving satisfied. I can't wait to get my packages in the mail next week! Woohoo! I pinned way more than I purchased yesterday, so you can see more party supply fun on my Pinterest board here.
